Ingredients
  

  • 200 g Butter
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 200 g Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 120 ml Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a non-stick baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

  • Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into the bowl and mix until well combined.
    200 g Flour, 2 teaspoons Baking Powder, ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • Gradually pour in the milk and vanilla extract, stirring gently until the batter is smooth.
    120 ml Milk, 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for approximately 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the baking dish for 10 minutes.
  • Transfer the cake onto a wire rack to cool completely before frosting or serving.
