This easy-to-follow homemade ravioli recipe takes you through each step, from creating the perfect pasta dough to assembling and cooking the ravioli.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 g plain flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Place flour on a clean surface or in a large mixing bowl. Create a well in the center. Add beaten eggs, olive oil, and salt. Mix until dough forms.
  • Transfer dough onto a floured surface, knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
  • Divide dough into portions. Roll out each portion into thin, even sheets. Use a pasta machine if available.
  • Mix ricotta, mascarpone, Parmesan, basil, salt, and pepper for filling
  • Place filling on one pasta sheet, brush water around filling. Top with another sheet, press to seal edges. Cut into ravioli shapes
  • Boil salted water, cook ravioli for 3-4 minutes until they float. Remove with slotted spoon.
  • Serve ravioli with preferred sauce, garnish with Parmesan and basil. Enjoy!
