- 2 onions
- 2 carrots
- 2 stalks of celery
- 500 g ground beef
- 250 g ground pork
- 400 g can of tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 125 ml red wine or beef broth
- 125 ml whole milk
- Various herbs and spices to taste
Sauté the onions, carrots, and celery in a large pot until softened.
Add the ground beef and pork, cook until well-browned.
Stir in the tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic, red wine or beef broth, and whole milk.
Season with your choice of herbs and spices.
Allow the sauce to simmer for 90 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Adjust seasonings if needed.
