Using a peeler, remove the skin of the apples.
6-8 medium-sized Fresh Apples
Remove the core of the apples using an apple corer or a sharp knife. Cut the apples into thin slices (around 1/4 inch thick) or medium-sized chunks.
You only need three simple ingredients to create this crunchy, golden something that adds the perfect contrast to the soft and juicy baked apples, that is Flour, Butter and Sugar
1 cup All-Purpose Flour, 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
To make the topping, simply rub the flour and butter together with your fingers until you get a mixture resembling breadcrumbs. Then, add the sugar and combine.
To assemble the apple crumble, spread the cooked apple filling evenly in a baking dish. Make sure to scrape all the sugary juices left behind in the pan.
With a fork, carefully sprinkle the crumble mixture on top, covering the entire surface. Press gently to pack the crumble and create an even layer.
Preheat your oven to 180℃. Place the dish in the middle rack and bake for around 30 minutes or until the crumble turns golden brown and you can see the bubbling fruit mixture beneath it.
To check if it's done, insert a toothpick or skewer into the center. If it comes out clean, the crumble is ready.
Take the dish out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
