- 100 g Plain flour
- 2 large Eggs
- 150 ml Milk
- 2 tablespoons Oil or beef dripping
- Salt A pinch
Preheat your oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7
Sift the flour and salt into a mixing bowl
100 g Plain flour, Salt
Add the eggs and half the milk and whisk until smooth
2 large Eggs, 150 ml Milk
Add the remaining milk and whisk until the batter is thin, smooth, and creamy
Add the oil or dripping to a 12-hole muffin tin and place in the preheated oven until smoking hot
2 tablespoons Oil or beef dripping
Carefully remove the tray from the oven and pour the batter evenly into the hot tin
Return the tin to the oven and cook for 20-25 minutes, until the puddings are risen and golden
Remove from the oven and serve immediately
