In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or oil.

Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until bubbles form on the surface.
Flip the pancake and cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown.
