Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Salt
  • 2 cups Buttermilk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Melted Butter

Instructions

  • Take a mixing bowl and add 150 grams of flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
2 cups Flour, 2 tbsp Sugar, 2 tbsp Baking powder, 1/2 tbsp Salt
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together 240 millilitres of buttermilk, 2 beaten eggs, and 50 grams of melted butter.
2 cups Buttermilk, 2 large Eggs, 1/4 cup Melted Butter
  • Once well whisked, gradually pour the wet mixture into the bowl of the dry ingredients.
  • Keep whisking until the batter is just combined. Be careful not to overmix as it can result in tough pancakes.
  • As soon as your batter is ready, you can start making your fluffy pancakes. If you're not using the batter immediately, cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for up to an hour.
  • Now comes the most exciting part of the easy pancake recipe - cooking the pancakes! In order to cook your homemade pancakes to perfection, you will need a non-stick pan or griddle.
  • Preheat it over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray.
  • Next, pour a ladleful of pancake batter onto the heated surface and spread it slightly into a circular shape.
  • Cooking time varies, but usually, you will know when the pancake is ready to be flipped when bubbles start to form on the surface. Use a spatula to flip the pancake delicately and cook for an additional minute or until golden brown on both sides.
  • Transfer the cooked pancakes to a plate and repeat the process with the remaining batter.
