- 2 heads of pak choi
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- 1- inch piece of ginger grated
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Prepare the pak choi by washing it thoroughly and removing the tough ends of the stalks. Cut the pak choi into bite-sized pieces.
Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat.
Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan. Stir-fry for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the pak choi to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until it starts to wilt.
In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper.
Pour the sauce over the pak choi and stir-fry for another 2 minutes until the pak choi is tender and coated in the sauce.
Remove from heat and serve the pak choi stir-fry as a side dish or as a main course with rice or noodles.
