Creating an easy traditional paella recipe need not be a complicated process. By following the steps outlined above, you can prepare a delicious paella that captures the essence of Spain.

- 300 g of short-grain rice
- 1 l of chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/2 teaspoon saffron threads
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper chopped
- 1 green bell pepper chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 tomatoes chopped
- 300 g of chicken rabbit, or a combination of both
Prepare the paella pan by heating it over medium heat and coating the bottom with olive oil to create the socarrat.
Sauté vegetables in the pan, add rice, broth, and saffron, and let it simmer gently.
Add protein (chicken, rabbit) and let everything cook together.
Ensure each grain of rice has the perfect texture and cook until al dente.
For seafood or vegetarian options, add respective ingredients to the paella.
Increase heat in the final minutes to create the perfect socarrat.
