  • Steamed rice
  • Chopped kimchi
  • Kimchi juice
  • Water
  • Gochujang Korean chili paste
  • Toasted sesame oil
  • Vegetable oil
  • Green oniona
  • Roasted sesame seeds
  • Roasted gim seaweed

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large non-stick pan or wok over medium heat and add vegetable oil.

  • Add the chopped kimchi and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until it becomes slightly translucent.

  • In a small bowl, mix together the kimchi juice, gochujang, and water until well combined.

  • Pour the kimchi juice mixture into the pan with the kimchi and stir to coat evenly.
  • Add the steamed rice to the pan and stir-fry for another 5-6 minutes until the rice is well coated with the kimchi mixture and heated through.

  • Drizzle the toasted sesame oil over the fried rice and stir well.

  • Garnish with chopped green onion, roasted sesame seeds, and roasted gim.
