Ingredients
  

  • 100 g Fresh ginger root peeled
  • 60 ml Lemon juice from 1–2 lemons
  • 100 ml Apple juice optional
  • 1 tsp Turmeric fresh or powder
  • Black pepper A pinch
  • Cayenne pepper A pinch
  • 1 tsp Honey or maple syrup optional
  • 50–100 ml Water if diluting

Instructions
 

  • Peel the ginger and turmeric (if using fresh) using a spoon or vegetable peeler.
  • Chop the ginger and turmeric into small chunks for easier blending.
  • Add ginger, turmeric, lemon juice, apple juice, and water into a blender.
    100 g Fresh ginger root, 60 ml Lemon juice, 100 ml Apple juice, 1 tsp Turmeric, 50–100 ml Water
  • Blend on high for 30–60 seconds until smooth.
    Black pepper, Cayenne pepper
  • Strain the liquid through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a jug.
  • Stir in honey or maple syrup if desired.
    1 tsp Honey or maple syrup
  • Store in an airtight glass bottle in the fridge for up to 5–7 days.
