Heat olive oil in a deep pan.
2 tbsp Olive Oil
Sauté onions until softened, then add garlic and chilli.
1 Onion, 2-3 Garlic Cloves, 1 Red Chilli, 400 g Kidney Beans, 2 tsp Ground Cumin, 1 tsp Smoked Paprika, 1-2 tsp Chilli Powder, 1 tsp Oregano, 1 tsp Brown Sugar, Salt & Pepper
Brown the minced beef thoroughly.
500 g Minced Beef
Stir in spices and cook for 2 minutes.
Add red pepper, tomatoes, tomato purée, and beef stock.
400 g Tinned Chopped Tomatoes, 2 tbsp Tomato Purée, 300 ml Beef Stock, 1 Red Bell Pepper
Simmer gently for 20–30 minutes.
Add drained kidney beans and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
Adjust seasoning before serving.
