Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan
  • Melt the butter in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water. Add the sugar and whisk until combined and slightly warmed.

  • Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well between each addition. The mixture should be smooth and shiny.

  • In a separate bowl, sift the flour and cocoa powder together.

  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.
